SmallRig 3639 Half Cage for Sony A7IV/ A7SIII/ A7RIV/ A7RV/ A1

This half cage is designed for the Sony A7IV, A7SIII, A7RIV, A7RV and A1.

Mounting and protection

The camera is secured using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two side mounts to prevent twisting. To use the side mount, the split ring on the left side of the camera must be removed. Integrated silicone spacers protect the camera body from scratches. The design ensures full access to all dials and function buttons.

Expansion options

For attaching the top handle 2165, side handle 2093, monitor mount 2903, microphones and LED lights, the cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes and cold shoes. A built-in magnetic hex key simplifies assembly and disassembly. The SmallRig HDMI cable clamp 3000 is available as an accessory for the A7 IV and A7S III to stabilise the signal and protect the port.

Plate

The bottom features an Arca plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2 and RS 3 Pro stabilisers. The cage is constructed from aluminium, stainless steel and silicone. Dimensions are 108 x 98 x 51 mm (W x H x D) and it weighs 115 g.
