A cage for Sony A 7R V, A 7 IV, A 7S III, A 1 and A 7R IV designed to protect the camera and provide multiple attachment points for accessories.

Mounting and grip

The cage is secured using a lower mounting pin, a 1/4″-20 screw and an M2.5 screw on the left side. Side lock adapters are adjusted based on the camera model, where the A7 IV marking fits the A 7 IV and A 7R V, while the A7S III marking fits the A 7S III, A 1 and A 7R IV. Integrated protective spacers prevent scratches on the camera body. The design maintains access to ports, dials, buttons and battery doors, with an extension by the battery grip to provide space for the pinky finger.

Mounts and compatibility

Threaded 1/4″-20 holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes and HawkLock cold shoe mounts support accessories such as the 2165 top handle, 2093 side handle, 2903 monitor mount, microphones and LED lights. A lower QD socket supports the SmallRig QD shoulder strap, and holes on the sides and bottom allow for accessories like the 2456 hand strap. The integrated HawkLock Arca-Swiss quick release plate is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, the riser plate on DJI RS 2/RSC 2 and the SmallRig Arca-Swiss quick release plate 3154.

The cage weighs 181 g and uses Arca plates. An integrated magnetic tool is included for assembly and disassembly.
