This cage kit for Sony FX3 and FX30 is designed to protect the camera body and provide multiple mounting points for accessories. An integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom allows for fast switching between tripod and handheld modes.
Mounting points and attachments
The cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes for attaching monitors and side handles. The left side includes a NATO rail and a cold shoe for microphones or LED lights. Additional 1/4″-20 mounting holes are positioned on the left side and in the upper left section.
Handle and stability
An XLR handle extension provides an ergonomic grip and extra accessory mounts. A hand strap is included for increased stability and security. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the ports and ensures stable signal transmission. The kit weighs 318 g and uses Arca type plates. An recessed Allen key is included for assembly and disassembly.
