This kit for Sony FX3 and FX30 consists of a U-shaped cage and a top plate with a NATO rail.
Mounting and grip
The cage is secured with 1/4″-20 screws at the bottom and on both sides to prevent twisting. A protective pad prevents scratches on the camera body. At the battery door, a hinge arm follows the curve of the camera to provide a better grip for the pinky finger.
Mounts and expansion
The HawkLock system includes the cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-type quick release plate. The top NATO rail is attached with two 1/4″-20 screws and can be removed to allow for the installation of the original XLR handle. For expansion, the cage features built-in 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes, QD sockets, and a strap mount. An HDMI cable clamp protects the ports to ensure stable signal transmission.

Is the original XLR handle compatible?
Yes, but the top NATO rail must be removed first.
