SmallRig 4772 HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage for Sony FX3 / FX30

An L-shaped cage for Sony FX3 and FX30 that expands the mounting options for accessories.

Mounting and protection

The cage is secured with a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and on the left side to prevent twisting. Rubber padding on the inside protects the camera body from scratches. A NATO rail is attached to the top with two 1/4″-20 screws. This rail can be removed to make room for the original XLR top handle that belongs to the camera.

Mounts and compatibility

The HawkLock system integrates a cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate for faster assembly and disassembly. The system works with HawkLock eco-accessories such as the SmallRig Top Handle 4483 and Side Handle 4485, but is also compatible with traditional NATO, Arca-Swiss, and cold shoe mounts. The Arca-type bottom plate fits Arca-Swiss tripods as well as DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 gimbals.

For further expansion, there are built-in 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes, cold shoes, QD sockets, and strap mounts. The top plate is compatible with accessories such as the Sony ECM-M1, Sony ECM-B1M, Sony HVL-F32M, and DJI Mic 2 Camera Adapter.
