Here we describe which personal data we store when you shop with us, why we do it and which cookies the site uses. If you have any questions, you are welcome to email us.

Who is responsible for your data?

Expertfoto is run by Nilsson Content & PR, company registration number 730728-3932, which is the data controller. You can reach us at info@expertfoto.se or by phone on +46 73-983 89 31.

Data we store when you shop

When you place an order, we store your name, address, email, phone number and what you bought. We need this to send the item, to reach you if something happens with the delivery and to help you with a complaint or a return. The legal basis is our contract with you.

Orders and receipts are kept for seven years, because the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires it. If you create an account, your details stay until you ask us to delete the account.

We never sell your data.

Who we share the data with

  • Supplier and carrier: some items are shipped directly from our supplier. The supplier and the carrier then get your name, address and contact details, but only what is needed for the delivery.
  • Payment: card, Apple Pay and Klarna are handled by Stripe and Klarna. We never see your card details. If you pay with Swish, we see the name and number in the payment.
  • Web host: the site and the customer register are kept by our web host in Sweden.

Your rights

You have the right to know which data we hold about you, to have errors corrected and to have data deleted when we no longer have to keep it. You can also object to the processing or ask for your data in a format you can take with you. Email info@expertfoto.se and we will help you.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. We use as few as possible. The ones the shop needs to work are set straight away. Everything else is set only after you have answered OK, and you can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings.

Necessary cookies

  • woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_…: keep track of your cart. Kept for up to two days (one week if you are logged in).
  • woocommerce_recently_viewed: shows the products you have just looked at under Recently viewed. Removed when you close the browser.
  • wp_consent_statistics, wp_consent_statistics-anonymous: remember your answer to the cookie question, for twelve months.
  • __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid: set by Stripe at checkout to protect against card fraud (one year and 30 minutes).
  • wordpress_logged_in_… and similar: keep you logged in if you have an account.

Statistics (only if you answer OK)

  • sbjs_…: WooCommerce notes how you found us, for example through Google or a link, so we know which channels lead to purchases. The cookies only last for the visit, and the session ends after 30 minutes without activity.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We measure visits with Matomo, which runs in the shop at our own web host. Matomo sets no cookies, shortens your IP address before it is stored and sends nothing to other companies. We see, for example, how many people visit the site, which pages are read, roughly which country, region and town the visits come from and which search terms are used in the shop. The data cannot be linked to you as a person. Raw data is deleted after six months, after that only aggregated statistics remain.

Google ads

We advertise on Google and use Google’s tag to see whether an ad leads to a purchase. For visitors in the EU/EEA the tag is set up so that Google may not set any advertising cookies or use the data for personalised advertising. Google then only receives anonymous signals that a visit or a purchase has taken place.

How to turn cookies off

You can change your answer at any time under Cookie settings. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the cart does not work.
