This cage kit is designed for the Sony FX3 and FX30, protecting the camera body while adding multiple mounting points for accessories.
HawkLock and mounting options
The system utilises the patented HawkLock quick release design, which integrates the shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate. The cage remains compatible with traditional shoe, NATO, and Arca-Swiss mounts. For further expansion, it features built-in 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, a QD socket, and a strap mount.
Kit contents and functionality
The set includes a U-shaped cage, a top plate, and an HDMI cable clamp to ensure stable signal transmission. For the XLR handle, the kit provides a NATO rail, a handle extension, and a locking part. A hand strap is included for improved handling during handheld shooting. A magnetic tool is also provided for assembly and disassembly.
