A cage for the Sony A6700 that protects the camera body and provides multiple mounting points for accessories.
Mounting and grip
The cage is secured using a 1/4″-20 screw on the bottom and an M2.5 screw on the right side. Integrated protective pads prevent scratches on the camera. The hinge arm at the battery door is contoured to the camera curve and leaves space for the pinky finger to improve comfort.
Mounts and connectivity
An HDMI cable clamp attaches to the left side with a thumbscrew to protect the port and ensure stable transmission. The cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes for top handle 3765 and side handle 2913, and an upper ARRI 3/8″-16 hole for monitor mount 2903. Cold shoes are available for microphones and LED video lights, while a NATO rail on the left side accommodates rotating NATO handle 3260. The bottom includes a QD socket for shoulder straps and holes for hand strap 3848 or shoulder strap 2428.
The integrated Arca Swiss quick release plate on the bottom is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro gimbals, as well as the SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154. The cage weighs 152 g. A magnetic hex key is included for assembly and disassembly.
