This L-bracket is designed for the Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7S III.
The mount attaches to the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw and mounting pins at the bottom. Protective pads are included to prevent scratches and twisting. A hinge arm at the battery door follows the camera curve to improve the grip.
Features and mounts
The side plate uses a press-to-flip design, allowing it to fold quickly towards the bottom for horizontal shooting. This ensures the LCD screen can be turned and flipped without obstruction. In vertical shooting mode, the baseplate can be extended to provide space for cables and accessories.
The baseplate features several 1/4″-20 threaded holes for mounts such as the SmallRig Magic Arm 3873 and shoe 2935 for monitors and microphones. For straps, there is a wrist strap hole and a QD socket for quick attachment of QD shoulder and wrist straps. A slotted screwdriver is provided for assembly, disassembly and extending the side plate.
