A cage for Sony A 7R V, A 7 IV, A 7S III, A 1 and A 7R IV that protects the camera and provides multiple mounting points for accessories.

Mounting and design

The cage is secured using a lower mounting pin, a 1/4″-20 screw and an M2.5 screw on the left side. Side lock adapters are adjusted based on the camera model; the A7 IV marking is for Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7R V, while the A7S III marking is for Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1 and Alpha 7R IV. Integrated protective spacers prevent scratches on the camera body. The design ensures access to ports, dials, buttons and battery doors, and an extension by the battery grip provides space for the pinky finger.

Mounts and compatibility

For accessory attachment, the cage features threaded 1/4″-20 holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes and HawkLock shoe mounts. These support items such as top handle 2165, side handle 2093, monitor mount 2903, microphones and LED lights. A lower QD socket is available for the SmallRig QD shoulder strap, and holes on the sides and bottom accommodate accessories like the hand strap 2456. The base includes a HawkLock Arca-Swiss quick release plate compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, the riser plate on DJI RS 2/RSC 2 and SmallRig quick release plate 3154.

The cage comes with a built-in magnetic tool for assembly and disassembly. The weight is 181 g.
