An on-camera monitor with a 7″ screen and a brightness of 2200 cd/m², making it viewable in daylight.
Screen and interface
The IPS panel has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and supports REC709, DCI-P3 and BT2020 colour spaces. The menu is operated via the touchscreen, and three programmable shortcut buttons on the top of the screen provide quick access to saved functions. An integrated cooling system prevents overheating during extended use.
Connectivity and conversion
The monitor features both HDMI and SDI inputs and outputs with built-in cross conversion between HDMI and SDI. Audio is monitored in real time via a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Signals can be passed through the outputs with an applied 3D LUT for real-time monitoring.
Imaging tools and mounting
Auxiliary functions include waveform, vectorscope, histogram, focus peaking, zoom, check field and audio meter monitoring. For composition, there are center and safety markers as well as a nine-grid. The image can be flipped both horizontally and vertically, and the unit supports HDR monitoring and 3D LUTs. Two 1/4″-20 threads on the bottom and right side are used for mounting on a camera or other equipment.
Power is supplied via a 12 VDC input for a power adapter or via L-series batteries, sold separately. An auxiliary output provides 8 VDC to compatible cameras or other devices.
