The IPS screen

The panel has a resolution of 1920×1080 with 367 pixels per inch and a viewing angle of 160°. The screen size is updated to 15.2 cm. It uses OCR full-fit technology and features shock-resistant and scratch-resistant glass. Settings are controlled via the touchscreen using taps and swipes, or through physical buttons and a rotary wheel. The touch function can be disabled via the power button.

Connectivity and imaging tools

The HDMI input accepts 4K signals and the HDMI output forwards the signal to other monitors or projectors. Audio is monitored via a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack. You can store screenshots on an SD card to compare composition with real-time video using a semi-transparent image.

Built-in colour calibration follows the REC-709 standard. The monitor supports HDR signals with built-in 3D LUTs for HLG 2020, HLG 709 and HLG P3, as well as De-slog3 for SLOG2, SLOG3, LOGC and VLOG. It includes S-log2/3, V-log and Log-C to convert log mode to REC709 for most cameras. Up to 50 custom 3D LUTs in .cube format can be imported via the SD card.

Power and mounting

The battery plate is compatible with Sony F970 and Canon LP-E6 batteries. Power can also be supplied via a 12 V DC input with a 1.5 A adapter or via a 5 V Type-C port from a power bank or mobile charger of at least 5 V / 2 A. The Type-C port is used for power only, not for data or loop-out. The monitor can charge the camera using an optional battery adapter cable.

The monitor is mounted via a 1/4″-20 thread or cold shoe. It comes with a tilt arm with a cold shoe mount that can rotate 360 degrees and has its own mount for accessories such as microphones or LED lamps.
