Screen and Image Quality
The IPS panel has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Connectivity and Features
The monitor is equipped with two HDMI inputs supporting signals up to 4K at 60 Hz, one 3G-SDI input and a 9-pin Tally connector. Signals are passed through via an HDMI output and a 3G-SDI output, with the HDMI1 input preset for loop-out. Audio is monitored via a stereo headphone jack. The menu is operated via the touch screen or a scroll wheel, and three programmable shortcut buttons are located on the top.
Imaging tools include waveform, vectorscope, RGB histogram and focus assist. Built-in tally indicators are available in red, green and yellow.
Power and Mounting
The rear features dual battery plates for the Sony NP-F series. One F970 battery provides approximately 2 hours of operation, while two batteries provide up to 3.5-4 hours. Batteries are sold separately. Power can also be supplied via the DC input (up to 24 V). An 8 V DC output (5.5 mm outer, 2.1 mm inner) can power a DSLR or mirrorless camera via a separate adaptor.
An external mounting and power kit for Sony F970 is located on the rear for installing equipment such as wireless transmission systems or LED lights. The monitor weighs 810 g and measures 242 x 156 x 23 mm.
