SmallRig 5864 T99 Triple-Proof (1.8m Drop-Resistant, IP54 Waterproof / Dustproof) V-Mount Battery

A V-mount battery for mirrorless cameras, video cameras, cinema cameras, monitors, follow focus systems, video transmitters, LED lights, smartphones, tablets and laptops. It features a cell capacity of 27 200 mAh (cell: 3 400 mAh × 8) and a nominal total output power of 100 W. The battery capacity is 98,872 Wh.

Connections and charging

Power delivery is provided via one BP port, three D-Tap ports, two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. BP / D-Tap1 / D-Tap2 / D-Tap3 provide 16,8 V⎓6,8 A (nominal). Both USB-C ports support bidirectional PD3.0 fast charging up to 100 W, allowing the battery to be fully charged in 2 hours. USB-C1 / USB-C2 support 5 V⎓3 A, 9 V⎓3 A, 12 V⎓3 A, 15 V⎓3 A, 20 V⎓5 A (max 100 W) and the PD3.0, QC2.0, QC3.0, AFC, DCP-1,5A, PPS, Apple 2,4A protocols. The USB-A port supports 5 V⎓3 A, 9 V⎓3 A, 12 V⎓2,5 A (max 30 W) and QC2.0, QC3.0, AFC, FCP, DCP-1,5A, Apple 2,4A. The shutdown voltage is 11,2 V.

Cooling with graphene and thermal grease is used to maintain efficient power delivery during charging. The battery is powered by LG cells and managed by a BMS chip that protects against overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuits, overcharging and over-discharging.

Construction and mounting

The housing made of aluminium alloy, TPU, silicone and PC withstands drops from up to 1,8 m and is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance. For mounting, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes are available. A rear lamp facilitates installation in low light. Dimensions are 128,0 × 81,0 × 71,0 mm and the weight is 862 g.
