SmallRig 3581 V-Mount Battery Mini VB155

A V-mount battery designed to power cameras, camcorders, monitors, wireless video transmitters, video lights, mobile phones and laptops. It features built-in 3500 mAh lithium cells with a capacity of 10.5 Ah (155 Wh) and a voltage of 12 V.

Connections and charging

For power supply and charging, the battery includes USB-A, USB-C and D-Tap ports, as well as a DC1 output of 8 V (max 3 A) and a DC2 output of 12 V (max 3 A). The USB-C port supports both charging and power delivery up to 65 W, while a full charge is achieved in 3 hours using 100 W fast charging. The V-mount and D-Tap input supports up to 8 A, and the output provides a maximum of 14.8 V and 14 A. Optional charging methods include a 16.8 V D-TAP charger or a USB-C charger, such as a GaN charger with PD fast charging technology up to 65 W.

Construction and control

An OLED display shows the battery status, and power management is controlled via a button. The housing is made of heat-resistant and fire-proof PC material. An intelligent BMS system provides protection against overcurrent, short circuits, overtemperature and overvoltage. The battery meets standards including MSDS, UN38.3, IEC62133, UL2054 and UL62368. For a longer lifespan, the battery should be charged to approximately 70 % every three months and stored in a dry, ventilated environment if left unused for long periods.
