SmallRig 3580 V-Mount Battery Mini VB99

A V-mount battery designed to power equipment such as cameras, monitors, wireless video transmitters, video lights, mobile phones and laptops. It has a capacity of 6800 mAh (98.872 Wh) with a voltage of 14.8 V and a cutoff voltage of 11.2 V. The battery is constructed from fireproof and heat-resistant PC material, is 30 % smaller than traditional batteries and weighs 550 g.

Connections and charging

The battery features a V-mount mount as well as outputs via USB-C, USB-A, D-Tap, DC 8 V and DC 12 V. Charging via USB-C supports up to 100 W, with a full charge taking 2 hours. The USB-C port provides outputs of 5 V⎓3 A, 9 V⎓3 A, 12 V⎓3 A, 15 V⎓3 A and 20 V⎓5 A, while the USB-A port supports up to 12 V⎓2 A. Charging can be performed via a BP port charger, a 16.8 V D-Tap charger or USB-C. An OLED display shows the battery status and a smart switch controls the power.

An intelligent BMS system provides protection against overcurrent, short circuits, overheating and overvoltage. The battery uses 3500 mAh LG cells supporting over 300 charge cycles and complies with standards including MSDS, UN38.3, IEC62133, UL2054 and UL62368.
