SmallRig 4292 V-Mount Battery Mini VB99 Pro

A V-mount battery designed to power video cameras, monitors, image transmitters, LED video lights, mobile phones and laptops. It has a capacity of 6.7 Ah (99 Wh) with a voltage of 14.8 V. The unit is 30 % smaller than typical V-mount batteries, measuring 10.7 x 7.3 x 5.5 cm and weighing 660 g.

Connections and charging

Power delivery is handled via two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, one D-Tap port, and 8 V and 12 V outputs. The USB-C ports support bidirectional fast charging up to 100 W via PD 3.0 with values of 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 15 V/3 A and 20 V/5 A, allowing the battery to be fully recharged in 2.5 hours. The USB-A port supports QC2.0/3.0 with 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 3 A and 12 V / 2.5 A. Charging can be performed using a 16.8 V D-TAP charger or a USB-C charger with PD technology (up to 100 W).

Construction and monitoring

The housing is made of aluminium alloy and fireproof material with a scratch-resistant acrylic protector. A front TFT colour screen displays battery status, voltage, output power and port status in real time. For mounting, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes are provided. An intelligent BMS chip provides protection against overcurrent, short circuit, overheating and overvoltage. The battery meets standards such as IEC62133. The 12 V output is not compatible with Atomos Ninja Inferno, Ninja, Ninja V, Ninja V+ and Shogun.
