An ND filter with a 112 mm diameter used to evenly reduce the amount of light entering the lens. It is used when there is high contrast between highlights and shadows to achieve better exposure, or to create motion blur using long shutter speeds and wide apertures.
The optical glass features a double-sided, multi-layer anti-reflection coating to minimise reflections. The surface is treated with a U-type Nano coating, making the filter resistant to water and oil while simplifying cleaning.
Construction and fit
The filter ring is made of brass and has a thickness of 3.5 mm. This ultra-thin design prevents vignetting even on wide-angle lenses. The filter is compatible with Nikon Z lenses and the Canon RF 100-300 F2.8L IS. It is available in ND8 (3 stop), ND64 (6 stop), or ND1000 (10 stop) densities.
