A variable ND filter with a 52 mm diameter that allows for light intake control via rotation from ND2 to ND32 (1-5 stop).
The filter is made from German Schott B270i HD glass and features an AR coating that is waterproof, stain-resistant, mildewproof and scratch-resistant. This coating reduces colour shift and the construction prevents cross patterns from appearing in the image. Hard outer stops are included for precise control.
The CNC-machined filter ring is ultra-thin and has a large diameter to prevent vignetting when using ultra-wide-angle lenses. It attaches magnetically to a SmallRig 52 mm magnetic filter adapter ring via an inner ring design. To ensure maximum magnetic force, the inner mounting ring should be rotated so the filter and adapter align. Use in strong winds or during rapid movements is not recommended.
