NiSi Square Filter Starter Kit 100mm System V7
A filter set for landscape photography based on the V7 system with filters in 100×100 mm and 100×150 mm sizes. The kit includes an ND1000 (10-stop) filter for long exposure times and a medium graduated ND8 filter (3-stop) to balance exposure between the sky and ground. A circular polarising filter with an 86 mm thread is included, manufactured from a film that prevents warm tones in the image.
Filter holder and adjustment
The V7 filter holder is made of aluminium with a matte black frosted surface. It can be rotated 360 degrees and locked with a screw, and an adjustment wheel on the back allows the polarising filter to be rotated even when the holder is filled with other filters. The holder can be used on full-frame cameras with lenses with focal lengths down to 15 mm, such as a 16-35 mm f/2.8 wide-angle zoom, without risk of vignetting.
Filters and protection
The IR layer on the ND filters blocks infrared light. The graduated filter features a medium transition and can be moved within the holder. For transport, a lightweight filter bag with a flip-top design is included, which holds up to 8 filters and can be attached to a tripod leg.
