A UV filter with a 127 mm thread that serves as a general protective filter to prevent damage, scratches, dust, and moisture from reaching the lens element. The filter is made of high-quality optical glass with 99.5 % light transmission and a very smooth surface with only 0.3 % reflection.
Coating and construction
The surface features a hard U-type Nano-coating that makes the filter resistant to water and oil. The frame is constructed from aluminium. The optical glass provides a high transmittance of over 99.2 %.
