SmallRig 5048 VB99 mini V Mount Battery Kit (3580+ 4064)
A power system for mirrorless and DSLR camera bodies up to 111 mm thick, powered by a V-mount battery. Supported models include Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, Alpha 7S III, Alpha 7C, FX3 and FX30, as well as Canon EOS R5C, R5, R6, R6 Mark II, R7, R10, R and RP, and Panasonic LUMIX S1, S1H, S1R, S5, S5 II, GH5 and GH6.
Battery and charging
The battery uses LG cells with a capacity of 6800 mAh and 99 Wh. Via USB-C PD 3.0, the battery supports charging up to 100 W, allowing a full charge in approximately 2 hours when used with a compatible GaN charger and cable. The same USB-C port can be used to power other devices at up to 100 W.
Connections and mounting
Outputs for powering equipment include USB-C, USB, D-Tap, BP, and DC 8 V and DC 12 V. The battery can power monitors, wireless transmitters, LED video lights, mobile phones, tablets and laptops. For mounting, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes are provided.
The battery plate features a rotatable design with a 90 degree tilt to allow access to the camera flip screen and ports. The construction is foldable for easier storage. The battery weighs 550 g and measures 4.21 x 2.87 x 2.08 in.
