SmallRig 4292 V-Mount Battery Mini VB99 Pro

A V-mount battery for powering equipment such as video cameras, monitors, wireless video transmitters, LED video lights, laptops and mobile phones. It has a capacity of 6.7 Ah (99 Wh) with a voltage of 14.8 V. The battery can be fully recharged in 2.5 hours via USB-C or using a 16.8 V D-tap charger.

Connections and power

Power delivery is handled via two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, one D-tap port, and 8 V and 12 V outputs. The USB-C ports support PD 3.0 and provide up to 100 W input and output with values of 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 15 V/3 A and 20 V/5 A. The USB-A output supports QC2.0/3.0 with 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A and 12 V/2.5 A. The 12 V-OUT port is not compatible with Atomos Ninja Inferno, Ninja, Ninja V, Ninja V+ and Shogun.

Construction and monitoring

The enclosure is made of aluminium alloy and fireproof material with a scratch-resistant acrylic protector. The battery is 30 % smaller than typical V-mount batteries, measuring 10.7 x 7.3 x 5.5 cm. A TFT colour screen on the front displays voltage, port status, power and battery level. Threaded holes in 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 are included for flexible mounting. An intelligent BMS chip provides protection against overcurrent, short circuit, overheating and overvoltage.
