A power and mounting kit for the Sony FX2 featuring a foldable V-mount battery plate for stable power delivery. The cage is designed with precision cut-outs to ensure the foldable EVF, buttons, and ports remain fully accessible.

Mounting and expansion

A modular top plate attached via a NATO rail can be removed and is compatible with the Sony XLR top handle or SmallRig rotating top handle 4152 without obstructing the EVF. For quick attachment of accessories such as side handles and top handles, the kit includes a HawkLock NATO rail, as well as multiple 1/4″-20 threaded holes and 3/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes. A cold shoe mount is available for devices like the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, and a QD socket for shoulder straps is located at the bottom.

Stability and compatibility

The camera is secured using a two-point locking mechanism, and the base includes a magnetic hex key for assembly. An integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate of the Arca type, used in combination with the HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate 4486, allows for fast transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. It is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 stabilisers. An included HDMI cable clamp ensures stable cable and data transmission.
