This cage kit is designed for the Sony FX2, providing full access to all buttons, ports, and the tiltable EVF.
Mounting and attachments
The camera is secured using a two-point locking mechanism. The cage is equipped with 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes, and a HawkLock NATO rail for quick attachment of side and top handles. A cold shoe mount allows for devices such as the DJI Mic 2 or LED lamps, while a QD socket in the base accommodates shoulder straps. A magnetic hex key is stored in the bottom for assembly and disassembly.
Plate and handles
The base features an integrated Arca plate compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5. When used with a HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate (4486), the base plate locks automatically. The detachable top plate includes a NATO rail for the Sony XLR top handle or the SmallRig rotating top handle (4152). The XLR handle extension increases the grip area and includes its own 1/4″-20 threaded holes for monitor mounts.
