A cage for the Sony FX2 that provides full access to all buttons and ports and allows for EVF tilt.
Mounting and attachments
The camera is secured using a two-point locking mechanism. The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes, and a HawkLock NATO rail for the quick attachment of side handles, top handles, and monitor mounts. A cold shoe is available for devices such as DJI Mic 2 or LED lamps, while shoulder straps can be attached to a QD socket in the base.
Plate and top section
The base includes an integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate. This is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 stabilisers. When used with the HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate (4486), a self-locking mechanism is utilised. The detachable top plate features a NATO rail compatible with the Sony XLR top handle or the SmallRig rotating top handle (4152).
A magnetic hex key is stored in the base for assembly and disassembly. The cage weighs 206 g.
