SmallRig 4317 Cage Kit "Night Eagle" for Nikon Z 8
This cage kit is designed for the Nikon Z 8 and is compatible with the WR-R11a remote controller. Shoulder straps on both sides of the camera must be removed before installing the cage.
Mounts and expansion
The cage features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, a NATO rail, and a QD port. The base includes an Arca-Swiss quick release plate. A detachable cold shoe mount with a positioning pin to prevent deflection can be installed on either side of the top of the cage.
Handle and cable management
The ergonomic top handle provides a comfortable grip and contains hidden 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16, and two M2.5 screws. For HDMI and USB-C cables, the kit includes a cable clamp with a press-and-flip design. This allows the interface cover to be opened without disassembly and prevents accidental cable disconnection to ensure stable transmission.
