SmallRig 3942 L-Shape Mount Plate for Nikon Z 8
This L-bracket is designed for the Nikon Z 8 to facilitate quick switching between horizontal and vertical orientations on a tripod.
The plate attaches to the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw and a positioning pin. Rubber protectors prevent scratches on the camera body, and a hinged arm at the battery door follows the curve of the camera to improve the grip.
Mounts and compatibility
The bracket features an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals. The underside includes 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes for accessories such as SmallRig side handles 2093, 3847 and Quick Release Plate 1280. For straps, it provides a QD mount and attachments for SmallRig hand straps 3848 and 2456.
A 23 mm stretchable side plate allows cables to pass through during vertical shooting. For microphones, there are 1/4″-20 threaded holes compatible with SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount 2736. The plate weighs 132 g.
