This cage kit is designed specifically for the Nikon Z 8 to facilitate handheld shooting and the attachment of accessories.
Mounting and attachments
The cage attaches to the camera using a lower 1/4″-20 screw, a mounting screw, and a side-locking adapter on the right side. For expansion, it features a 1/4″-20 threaded hole, a 3/8″-16 threaded hole, an ARRI 3/8″-16 locating hole, a NATO rail, and a cold shoe. These points are used to mount equipment such as monitors, microphones, tripods, and follow focus systems.
Stability and compatibility
An ergonomic top handle provides stability during shots in motion. The HDMI and USB-C cable clamps are tightened with thumb screws to ensure stable signal transmission. The base plate is Arca-type and is compatible with Arca-type tripods as well as DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 gimbals. The complete kit weighs 379 g.
