NiSi Filter IRND1000 Pro Nano Huc
An IRND filter with a strength of ND1000 (10 stops) that evenly reduces the amount of light passing through the lens. This allows for the use of a wide aperture or long shutter speeds to create motion blur and achieve better exposure when there is high contrast between highlights and shadows.
Optics and coating
The Japanese optical glass features a double-sided, multi-layer anti-reflective coating to minimise reflections. An IR layer blocks infrared light to maintain natural colours without colour cast. The surface is treated with a U-type Nano coating, making the filter resistant to water and oil and easy to clean.
Construction
The filter ring is made of matte black brass and is ultra-thin with a thickness of 3.5 mm. The optical quality ensures a flat surface to prevent image distortions.
- 10 stop light reduction (ND1000)
- IR layer to reduce colour cast
- Nano coating for water and oil resistance
- Ultra-thin 3.5 mm brass ring
