NiSi Cine Filter Nano IR GND V-Soft 4×5.65"
A graduated ND filter with a soft transition and a size of 4×5.65 inches, designed to balance bright and dark areas in an image, such as a bright sky against a darker foreground. The filter is densest at the edge and gradually lightens towards the centre, making it suitable for scenes where the transition between light and dark is not sharply defined, such as in mountainous terrain.
High-quality optical glass is used to maintain colour reproduction, and the filter does not affect the colours in the image. Both sides feature a nano coating that attenuates infrared light and visible wavelengths. This minimises colour casts during longer exposure times and ensures cleaner blacks, optimising the filter for digital sensors.
The glass is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The filter has a thickness of 4 mm. It is available in densities of 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, or 1.2 and comes with a synthetic leather case.
