A rear-mounted UV and IR filter for NiSi ATHENA PL-Mount lenses that blocks ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths. By allowing only the visible light spectrum to reach the sensor, it prevents haze and colour shifts in the image. This results in purer colours and reduces the need for post-processing colour correction.
The optical glass is protected with a Multi Ti-Nano coating that provides low reflections and high resistance to scratches and impacts. The filter is specifically designed to fit the rear of ATHENA PL lenses without affecting lens alignment or image quality.
A suction cap tool is included to enable filter changes without leaving fingerprints or smudges on the glass.
