A rear-mounted ND filter for NiSi ATHENA PL-Mount lenses that reduces light transmission in precise steps. The filter is manufactured from optical H-K9L crown glass with flat and parallel surfaces, offering quality equivalent to SCHOTT N-BK7 and HOYA BSC7. It transmits light evenly across the spectrum of ultraviolet, visible light, and near-infrared wavelengths, which eliminates IR pollution on the camera and preserves neutral colours.
Optics and coating
A double-sided nano Ti titanium attenuation film and anti-reflection coating minimise glare and reflections between the lens and adjacent filters. The surface is hydrophobic and oleophobic for fast cleaning, while a special matting imported from Japan on the filter edge prevents ghosting. The optical properties remain permanently stable and will not fade over time.
The filter is supplied with a suction cup tool to enable filter changes without leaving fingerprints.
