SmallRig 4983 L-Shape Mount Plate for Canon EOS R5 Mark II
An L-plate for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II that enables fast transitions between landscape and portrait orientations.
The mount is secured using a 1/4″-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks on the sides. Integrated silicone pads protect the camera body from scratches. The baseplate and side panel are designed to ensure the battery compartment, card slot, and buttons remain accessible. A magnetic tool is included at the bottom for assembly and disassembly.
Customisation and accessories
The side panel can be extended by 22,5 mm and adjusted forwards or backwards by 7,8 mm to facilitate cable management without blocking camera interfaces. The design allows the screen to rotate approximately 100° forwards and backwards. A provided 9H tempered glass screen protector with IK03 impact resistance protects against scratches. For stability during vertical shooting, a mounting block with a cold shoe is used to prevent frame shift. This block can be used for accessories such as microphones, video lights, transmitters, and flashes.
