A cage kit for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II that provides expanded mounting options for accessories during video production.
The cage secures to the camera body using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and dual locking blocks on the sides. For expansion, the kit features multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting points, cold shoe mounts, a QD interface, and strap mounts. These allow for the attachment of monitors, microphones, tripods, and follow focus systems.
Handle and Mounting
The silicone-padded Black Mamba handle is ergonomically designed and is anti-slip and frost-proof. An Arca-Swiss quick release plate is integrated into the base. This is compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 series stabilisers.
Cable Management and Protection
An included cable clamp for HDMI and USB-C is locked with a thumb screw to prevent signal loss. The kit also includes a tempered glass screen protector with 9H hardness and an IK03 impact resistance rating. The entire kit weighs 303 g.
