An L-bracket for the Nikon Z 8 that enables quick switching between horizontal and vertical orientations on a tripod.
Mounting and grip
The plate attaches via a 1/4″-20 screw and a positioning pin at the bottom. Rubber pads are included to prevent scratches on the camera body. A hinged arm at the battery door follows the curve of the camera to improve the grip.
Mounts and compatibility
The bracket uses the Arca-Swiss system and is compatible with Arca-type tripods as well as DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals. The underside features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes for accessories such as SmallRig side handles 2093, 3847 and Quick Release Plate 1280. For straps, it includes a QD mount and attachments for SmallRig hand straps 3848 and 2456. A 23 mm stretchable side plate provides clearance for cables during vertical shooting, and a 1/4″-20 hole accommodates the SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount 2736 for microphones. The plate weighs 132 g.
