This cage kit is designed for the Sony FX2, providing full access to buttons, ports and the tiltable viewfinder.
Mounting and attachments
The camera is secured using a two-point locking mechanism. The cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes and a HawkLock NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as side handles and top handles. A cold shoe allows for the mounting of devices like the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a QD socket in the base is used for shoulder straps. A magnetic hex key is integrated into the bottom for assembly and disassembly.
Handle and plate
The detachable top plate includes a NATO rail compatible with the Sony XLR top handle or the included rotating top handle 4152. This top handle can be rotated 360 degrees with a single press. The bottom quick release plate is of the Arca type and works with the HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate 4486. The configuration is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 stabilisers.
