NiSi Square Nano IRGND Hard
A hard transition graduated ND filter balances bright and dark areas in an image, such as a bright sky against a darker foreground. The filter is densest at the edge and clears towards the centre, making it suitable for scenes with a clear boundary between light and dark sections, such as the horizon or the line between sky and sea. It is also suitable for longer focal lengths where the transition appears softer.
Optics and coating
The H-K9L optical glass is optimised for digital sensors and provides high neutrality between the visible and infrared spectrums. Both sides of the filter feature a Nano coating that is water- and oil-repellent and eliminates colour shifts for cleaner blacks. The construction prevents vignetting and preserves image detail.
The filter is placed in a holder where it can be moved to compose the image.
