A 6 inch recording monitor capable of recording 1080p30 HD video directly to a USB flash drive.

The touch screen features a resolution of 1920×1080, 8-bit colour depth, and is controlled via swipe gestures and taps. A wheel button on the top complements the interface. An integrated cooling fan keeps the system cool during recording.

Connectivity and Recording

The HDMI 2.0 input handles 4K 60 Hz and the HDMI 1.4 output supports up to 1080p60. Audio is recorded via HDMI and can be monitored through a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Recording is performed in MP4 format up to 1080p30 to a FAT32 USB drive via USB 2.0. One hour of recording consumes approximately 1860 MB of memory.

Imaging Tools and LUT

Exposure and framing tools include waveform, RGB parade, vector, RGB histogram, histogram, focus peaking, zebra, false colour, and safe frames. Zoom and embedded audio are also available. Up to 50 custom .cube files can be loaded via microSD card. When the LUT function is active, video can be recorded with the LUT effect, and the signal can be sent via the HDMI output with the LUT applied.

Power and Dimensions

The rear features a battery plate for the Sony F-series, including F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550, and F530. Battery is sold separately. Power can also be supplied via the DC 12 V input using a 12 V/1.5 A adapter. A DC output of 8.4 V allows the camera to be powered using a separately available DC coupler via adapter for Sony NP-FW50, Canon LP-E6, and Panasonic DMW-BLF19. The housing is 2.3 cm thick and weighs 230 g.
