SmallRig 5029 HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Canon EOS R5 Mark II

A cage for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II equipped with HawkLock quick release mounts for secure accessory attachment.

Mounting and protection

The camera is held in place using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two fastening blocks on the sides. Integrated silicone pads prevent scratches on the camera body. For the screen, a tempered glass protector is included with 9H hardness and an IK03 impact resistance rating.

Mounts and expansion

The cage features a built-in H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 and RS 4 Pro stabilisers. For accessories, it includes an H21 NATO rail with quick release, an H18 quick release mount for shoe accessories, cold shoe mounts, a QD interface and strap mounts. Mounting points consist of 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 1/4″-20 mounting holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes.

Handle and cable management

The ergonomic HawkLock handle features silicone padding for a stable grip during handheld shooting. A cable clamp for HDMI and USB-C is mounted with a thumbscrew to prevent signal interruptions. The complete kit weighs 407 g and uses Arca-type plates.
