SmallRig 5491 Camera Battery Charger for EN-EL15c

This charger is designed for Nikon EN-EL15c batteries and works with both original and third-party options. It features two charging slots and can charge two batteries simultaneously in approximately 2 hours. Power is supplied via a USB-C input supporting PD3.0, QC2.0, and QC3.0 protocols with a maximum power of 22,5 W. Input values are 5 V/2,4 A, 9 V/2 A, 12 V/1,75 A, and 15 V/1,5 A, while the nominal output per channel is 8,4 V/1 A.

Five LED indicators per channel show the battery level in 20 % increments, and a red warning light activates at critically low levels. These indicators function even without an external power supply. When using a 5 V/2,4 A adapter, batteries are charged one at a time starting with channel 1. For full performance, a power adapter with an output of 22,5 W or higher is recommended, as the charger is not compatible with 5 V/1 A adapters. The USB-C input allows for use with wall adapters, car chargers, and power banks.

Built-in circuits monitor temperature and voltage to protect against overheating and overvoltage. Charging slows down automatically at high temperatures or switches to maintenance charging when the battery is nearly full. It weighs 47 g and comes with a 60 W USB-C to USB-C cable of 1 metre.
