A battery charger for Sony NP-FZ100 that charges both original and third-party batteries. It features two charging slots and can charge two batteries simultaneously in approximately 2 hours. The weight is 45 g.
Each channel has five LED indicators showing the power level in 20 % increments, and a red warning light illuminates when the battery level is critically low. The rated output per channel is 8.4 V/1 A. For optimal performance, a power adapter with an output of 22.5 W or higher is recommended, while 5 V/1 A adapters are not compatible. The USB-C input supports 5 V/2.4 A, 9 V/2 A, 12 V/1.75 A, 15 V/1.5 A with a maximum of 22.5 W and supports PD3.0, QC2.0, and QC3.0 protocols.
Safety and function
Built-in circuits monitor temperature and voltage to protect against overheating and over-voltage. Charging slows down during overheating and the power is shut off completely during over-voltage. Trickle charging is used when the battery is nearly full to preserve battery health. When using a 5 V/2.4 A adapter, batteries are charged sequentially in slow mode, starting with channel 1.
