A multi-card reader for SD, microSD and CompactFlash that utilises the UHS-II interface for high performance with compatible SD cards.
Connectivity and compatibility
The reader uses the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface and is backwards compatible with SD cards that have UHS-I support. Read speeds reach up to 260 MB/s and write speeds up to 190 MB/s depending on the card capacity. When using a Transcend 32 GB UHS-II SD card, transferring an 8 GB video file takes 38 seconds. An LED indicator shows card insertion and data transfer activity. It is compatible with Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.2.8 or later and Linux Kernel 2.6.30 or later.
The operating temperature is 0 °C to 70 °C and the operating voltage is 5 V. Access to RecoveRx software for recovering deleted files is included via free download. The unit comes with a micro USB to USB Type-A cable.
