A charging kit for DMW-BLK22 camera batteries compatible with Panasonic LUMIX GH7, GH6, GH5 II, S9, G9 II, S5 IIX, S5 II and S5. Each battery features a cell capacity of 1940 mAh, a nominal voltage of 7.2 V and a rated energy of 13.968 Wh. Two batteries can be charged simultaneously, with a full charge taking approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

The charger uses a USB-C input supporting 5 V / 2.4 A, 9 V / 2 A, 12 V / 1.75 A or 15 V / 1.5 A with a maximum power of 22.5 W. A power adapter with 22.5 W or higher output is recommended. The rated output per channel is 8.4 V / 1 A. When using a 5 V / 2.4 A adapter, the charger enters a slow charging mode where channel 1 is prioritised over channel 2. Five LED indicators per channel show power levels in 20% increments, and a red warning light activates when the battery level is critically low.

Safety and construction

An intelligent circuit monitors temperature and voltage. Charging slows down during overheating, and power is cut entirely in the event of over-voltage. To preserve battery health, maintenance charging is used as the battery approaches full capacity. The housing is made of PC and ABS and weighs 223 g.
