A charging kit for NP-FZ100 batteries used in cameras such as the Sony α6600, α9 II, α7 III, α7R III, α1, α7C, α7S III, α7R IV, α7R V, α6700, FX3, FX30, α7CR, α7C II, α7 IV, ZV-E1, ZV-E10 II and α1 II. The batteries feature a nominal voltage of 7.2 V, a cell capacity of 1940 mAh and a rated energy of 13.968 Wh. Two batteries can be charged simultaneously in approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

Five LED indicators per channel show the power level in 20% increments, and a red warning light activates when the battery level is critically low. When using a 5 V / 2.4 A adapter, the charger prioritises the battery in channel 1 before automatically switching to channel 2. Each channel has a rated output of 8.4 V / 1 A.

Safety and function

An intelligent circuit monitors temperature and voltage to protect against overheating and over-voltage. Charging automatically slows down if the temperature is too high, and power is cut off during over-voltage. To preserve battery health, trickle charging is used as full capacity is approached. The USB-C input supports PD3.0, QC2.0 and QC3.0 protocols with input power of 5 V / 2.4 A, 9 V / 2 A, 12 V / 1.75 A or 15 V / 1.5 A up to a maximum of 22.5 W. A power adapter with 22.5 W or higher output is recommended for optimal performance. The charger weighs 205 g.
