A cage for Nikon Z5, Z5II, Z6, Z6II, Z7 and Z7II that protects the camera body and provides multiple attachment points for accessories.
Mounting and protection
The camera is secured via a three-point locking system using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two M2.5 screws on the sides. Built-in pads protect the body from scratches. The design ensures that buttons, ports, the flip screen and the battery compartment remain accessible. A built-in double hex key on the underside facilitates mounting and dismantling.
Expansion options
The cage features threaded 1/4″-20 holes, 1/4″-20 locating holes, threaded 3/8″-16 holes and ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes. The left side includes a HawkLock NATO rail with quick release for side handles. For microphones and lights, there are cold shoe mounts, including one detachable mount with a torsion-resistant locating pin. Shoulder straps can be attached via a QD socket or specific mounts designed to carry the camera lens-down.
Tripods and power
An integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows direct mounting on Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS 4 Mini and RS 5 gimbals. To extend operating time, the cage can be combined with V-mount batteries and corresponding battery plates.
