SmallRig 5198 HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Sony A 7C II / 7CR

SmallRig 5198 HawkLock Quick Release Cage Kit for Sony A 7C II / 7CR

This cage kit is designed for the Sony A 7C II and 7CR and includes an HDMI cable clamp.

Mounting and grip

The cage is secured using a three-point locking system consisting of a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two mounts on the sides. Silicone pads on the bottom protect the camera from scratches. An articulated arm near the battery compartment provides extra support for the pinky finger to improve grip.

Mounting points and accessories

For accessory attachment, the cage features several threaded 1/4″-20 holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes, and a cold shoe mount for microphones or lighting. An integrated NATO rail and an Arca-Swiss quick release plate are part of the HawkLock system for mounting compatible top handles, side handles, and quick release plates. The HDMI cable clamp attaches tool-free via a thumbscrew on the left side of the cage.

The base plate is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5. For carrying, there is a QD socket for QD straps as well as strap mounts on the bottom and sides for shoulder and wrist straps. The cage is compatible with the SmallRig eye shell 4819.
