SmallRig 4422 Cage Kit for Sony A7CII / A7CR

A cage for Sony A7CII and A7CR that protects the camera body during use.

Mounting and grip

The cage is secured with a 1/4″-20 screw on the bottom and an M2.5 screw on the right side. Built-in pads prevent scratches on the camera. A hinge arm at the battery compartment follows the camera curve and provides space for the pinky finger.

Mounting points and attachments

For accessories, the cage features 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 holes for top handle 3765 and side handle 2913, and an upper ARRI 3/8″-16 hole for monitor mount 2903. A NATO rail on the left side fits rotating NATO handle 3260, and the cold shoe accommodates microphones or LED lights. M4 threaded holes on the bottom front allow for quick switching between vertical and horizontal shooting with mount plate 4244. Shoulder straps can be attached to the bottom QD socket or via separate holes on the sides and bottom for accessories such as hand strap 3848 or shoulder strap 2428 mm.

Plate and weight

A built-in Arca-type quick release plate on the bottom supports DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 Pro, as well as the quick release plate for DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 and quick release plate 3154. The HDMI cable clamp is mounted with a thumb screw on the left side to protect the port. The cage weighs 152 g. A magnetic hex key is included for assembly.
