A cage for the Canon EOS R6 MKII that protects the camera body and provides multiple mounting points for accessories.
Mounting and access
The cage is secured using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and two side lock adapters. Internal rubber pads prevent scratches on the camera. The design ensures full access to the battery door, screen, and card slot.
Mounts and expansion
For accessory mounting, the cage features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, as well as ARRI 3/8″-16 mounting holes. Two 1/4″-20 holes are positioned horizontally on the right side to ensure stability during vertical use. NATO rails on the top and left side are used for top handles, side handles, and monitor mounts. A cold shoe is included for microphones and LED lights. Shoulder straps can be attached via the strap holes or the QD socket.
Tripod and gimbal
An Arca-Swiss quick release plate of the Arca type is built into the base. This is compatible with Arca-type tripod heads and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, and RS 3 Pro stabilisers. The cage weighs 172 g.
