Optics and Construction

The filters are made of high-resolution optical glass with Nano coating that repels water, oil, and dust while reducing flare and ghosting. The rings are constructed from aluminium and feature an ultra-slim profile. The variable ND filter (1-5 stop, ND2-ND32) includes integrated hard stops to prevent over-rotation and cross-polarisation artefacts, along with double-sided step markings.

Handling and Mounting

The JetMag Pro mount allows filters to be attached and removed quickly, while a built-in locking mechanism keeps them secure during movement or when stacking filters. By combining the variable filter with the FS ND filter, control is extended from 1 stop (ND2) up to 9 stops (ND512), providing a complete 5-9 stop range (ND32-ND512) when used together. A removable silver control pin can be mounted on either side of the variable filter for tactile adjustments. Once the ND effect is set, the entire filter can be rotated to control polarisation and manage reflections in water or glass.
